It takes strength to admit we are having difficulty managing problems alone. If you are anxious, depressed, feeling stuck or without hope you are among the many that often turn their lives around with the help of therapy. Processing our issues, prioritizing and developing strength are of tantamount importance. As a therapist I have worked with clients that have struggled with *Bullying *Communication Skills *Conflict Resolution *Coping Skills *Domestic Violence/Abuse *Family Issues *Mood Disorders *Personality Disorders *Phobias/Fears *PTSD/Trauma *Sex Abuse/Trauma *Sports Psychology/Performance Anxiety

The Empower House is the first facility of to help clients develop in every domain of their lives. I am trained in EMDR, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Strength Based Counseling and have also worked effectively with clients managing anxiety and panic disorder as well as agoraphobia.

Furthermore, as a former National Champion strength athlete I have helped athletes for years with coping with performance anxiety as well as managing expectations, appropriate goal-setting and focusing on process over outcome. I am a former certified personal trainer and have trained several champion athletes.

I offer counseling that allows the client to choose their path to more effective living by their own definition. If they haven't determined that definition, my role is to provide the opportunity to explore their options and guide experiences to facilitate reflection and action. I work very well with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and related disorders. I also enjoy exploring the mind-body connection with clients experiencing eating disorders and other related concerns. As a veteran, one of my motivations to begin counseling was to support active service members, Veterans, and their families.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in NC. I'm an Afghanistan Veteran and continue to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve. My counseling style is client-driven, empathetic, energetic, and solution-focused while encouraging self-responsibility, participation, and gradual progression.

I provide both telehealth and in-person services in NC.
